Bio

Melanie Campbell is a Licensed Acupuncturist and owner of Fine Balance. She attended the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio and graduated Summa Cum laude with a Masters in Acupuncture. She is board certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomat in Acupuncture and is licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board. Prior to attaining her master’s degree in Acupuncture, she graduated with honors from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree. Melanie specializes in the treatment of fertility issues and pain management. She treats fertility patients who are trying to conceive naturally as well as those using other western methods to conceive.

Melanie strives to listen deeply to the needs of every patient and provides a sense of trust and compassion. Many patients feel rushed by their healthcare providers but Melanie takes her time with each patient. She believes that combining a caring relationship with traditional treatment skills make for the most effective healing process. Melanie strongly supports the integration of Eastern and Western medicine in treating illness and maintaining the best health possible. Samantha Marek is a Licensed Acupuncturist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine. She is licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board and board certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to studying acupuncture, Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the Ohio State University and worked as a certified Pharmacy Technician. She believes optimal health is best achieved integrating Eastern and Western medicine. Samantha specializes in digestive issues and pain relief and strongly believes in the body’s natural ability to heal itself- with some help from acupuncture.
